•This helps prevent damaging the roll pin and easy removal of the pin.
•The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface.
•The tip is ground and polished.
•The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head.
•Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC - not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool.
